NWAF™ (National Workplace Adjustments Framework) is protected intellectual property owned by the Founder, Yolanda Pemberton, and licensed exclusively through NWAF Ltd. All organisations wishing to use, implement, deliver, reproduce, or adapt any part of the National Workplace Adjustments Framework must hold a valid NWAF™ Licence. Unlicensed use is strictly prohibited.


Purpose of Licensing

Licensing ensures that NWAF™ is implemented consistently, ethically, and in accordance with national governance standards. It protects disabled people, organisations, practitioners, and the integrity of the framework. Licensing also ensures that all users operate within the NWAF™ Governance Charter, Code of Conduct, and Enforcement & Sanctions Policy.


Who Requires a Licence

A licence is required for any organisation or individual who intends to:

  • Implement NWAF™ internally as part of workplace adjustments practice.

  • Deliver NWAF™ assessments, guidance, or consultancy.

  • Provide NWAF™ training or education.

  • Use NWAF™ tools, templates, or methodologies.

  • Reproduce NWAF™ content in any format.

  • Claim NWAF™ accreditation or affiliation.

No organisation or individual may use NWAF™ commercially or operationally without a valid licence.


Rights Granted to Licence Holders

A valid NWAF™ Licence grants the right to:

  • Implement the NWAF™ methodology within their organisation.

  • Use approved NWAF™ tools, templates, and materials.

  • Access updates, revisions, and governance instruments.

  • Participate in national data, reporting, and evaluation processes.

  • Engage Accredited Practitioners and approved Training Providers.

  • Use authorised NWAF™ branding where explicitly permitted.

Licences do not grant the right to alter, adapt, or create derivative frameworks.


Obligations of Licence Holders

Licence Holders must:

  • Comply with all NWAF™ governance instruments.

  • Use only current, approved NWAF™ materials.

  • Maintain accurate records of implementation and training.

  • Uphold accessibility, inclusion, and ethical practice.

  • Protect NWAF™ intellectual property at all times.

  • Cooperate with audits, reviews, and compliance checks.

  • Report breaches, concerns, or misuse promptly.

Failure to meet obligations may result in suspension or revocation of the licence.


Unlicensed Use

Unlicensed use includes, but is not limited to:

  • Copying or reproducing NWAF™ materials.

  • Delivering NWAF™ training without approval.

  • Claiming NWAF™ accreditation without rights.

  • Using NWAF™ branding without permission.

  • Implementing NWAF™ internally without a licence.

  • Adapting, modifying, or repackaging NWAF™ content.

Unlicensed use may result in legal action, sanctions, or enforcement under the NWAF™ Enforcement & Sanctions Policy.


Applying for a Licence

Organisations wishing to obtain a licence should submit an expression of interest using the contact details provided on this website. NWAF Ltd will provide:

  • Licensing requirements

  • Fee structure

  • Governance obligations

  • Implementation guidance

  • Onboarding timelines

Licensing decisions are made by NWAF Ltd in accordance with the Governance Charter.


Governance Authority

This Licensing Statement is issued under the NWAF™ National Governance Charter and is enforceable across all NWAF™ operations. All users of the framework are bound by the governance suite and must comply with all associated policies and standards.
