The Communication Governance section defines how NWAF™ creates, approves, delivers and maintains clear, accessible and consistent communication. It ensures that communication is:

  • legally aligned

  • approved at the correct governance level

Communication Governance protects the integrity of NWAF™ and ensures that all users and organisations receive reliable, inclusive and high‑quality information.

1. Communication Governance Principles

Communication must be easy to understand, free from jargon and structured logically.

1.2 Accessibility

All communication must meet accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.2 AA.

1.3 Consistency

Tone, structure and terminology must be consistent across all NWAF™ content.

1.4 Accuracy

Information must be correct, verified and aligned with governance content.

1.5 Transparency

Communication decisions must be documented and traceable.

1.6 Legal Alignment

Communication must reflect legislation, regulatory expectations and tribunal standards.

1.7 Founder Authority

Major or public‑facing communication requires Founder approval.

4. Communication Governance Process

All communication must follow this structured process:

  3. Consult relevant Leads

  4. Seek required approval level

  5. Apply version control

  6. Publish communication

  7. Communicate updates to organisations or users

  8. Archive previous versions

  9. Record communication in governance logs

This ensures communication is controlled, consistent and reliable.

  • meet colour contrast standards

  • be available in accessible formats
