Purpose of This Section

The Training & Capability section defines how organisations, Leads and users develop the knowledge, skills and confidence required to apply the NWAF™ Governance Framework effectively. It ensures that capability is:

  • consistent

  • accessible

  • measurable

  • aligned with governance standards

  • supported by structured learning

Training and capability development protect the integrity of NWAF™ and ensure organisations can meet their responsibilities.

1. Training & Capability Principles

1.1 Accessibility

Training must be accessible to all users, including disabled people and those using assistive technologies.

1.2 Consistency

Training must follow NWAF™ standards, terminology and processes.

1.3 Competence

Training must build the skills required to apply governance correctly.

1.4 Continuous Development

Capability is not a one‑off activity — it must be maintained and improved over time.

1.5 Evidence‑Based

Training content must be accurate, legally aligned and based on governance requirements.

1.6 Founder Authority

Training standards and capability expectations are set and approved by the Founder.

Introduces users to NWAF™, governance roles and core responsibilities.

Tailored training for:

3.3 Governance Training

Covers governance processes, decision making, documentation and standards.

3.4 Accessibility Training
